Products Sold report Condense Items sold by UPC

I am trying to calculate turns on items. When I run a report on items sold between January - June, it lists the same item multiple times based on how many times the category or subcategory was changed. The system really ought to condense items sold by UPC and use the current category.

This should also apply to products whose description has changed in addition to their category or subcategory changing.
