Allow future price/cost changes to be entered in advance

We frequently get emails from distributors with upcoming price changes, but they don't take effect for another month or two. I often will forget about them until much later. It would be great if we could add a price/cost adjustment with a date that the new price goes into effect.

This is pretty important and I don't want it to get lost. I hate having to enter a ton of changes and printing out new labels (we individually tag food) the night before they go into effect but I also do not want to increase prices earlier as other retailers in my area will not be increasing theirs since their systems can do future changes. I could lose customers as a result. Will the new system coming in the spring will be able to do this?
