We are running into some issues with our Promo (automatic discounts) stacking. Both promo discounts stacking with each other and with manual discounts. It would be great to have a few options like offer can not be combined with automatic discounts or can not be combined with manual discounts. And a setting for whether to allow discounts to stack or allow the greatest discount only.
Another option would be if there was a way for the cashier to MANUALLY remove or choose WHICH of the discounts the item qualifies for to apply.
For example: We have an Automatic case discount that applies to all of our cans, BUT if we are doing a 20% short dated manual discount we don't want the two discounts to stack. Similarly if we are having a clearance sale on some discontinued product we don't want them to get that discount + another offer.
We've had some issues with employees manually discounting a short dated product, and getting the automatic clearance discount, and the automatic case discount. It would be great if the employees could at least manually remove the automatic discounts. But it would be even better if we could set up discounts to NOT stack or control how they interact with other discounts in promotional settings when we create the discount.
